Tile Tuesday! It’s still Tuesday so plenty of time to give a little 👀 into a bathroom I’m working on.
The clients want a Japanese-inspired space so adding in lots of natural elements is the goal.
This culture is important to them so I did a little research on why the Japanese-inspired bathroom and it all sounds amazing.
In the Japanese culture the bathroom is one of the most important rooms in the home it’s a refuge, a place where they can relax, and let out their worries.
Japanese bathrooms are designed to distract you from your troubles, to give you a place where you can forget about everything else for a few minutes. No wonder a Japanese-style bathroom is so attractive.
Ok, back to the tile. We are using the x’s and stars for the wet room, a wet room is a space that includes your shower and your tub in the same space, the floor will pour into the shower as one continuous herringbone pattern using the marble tile.
Adding in bronze hardware and exposed shower trim. Needless to say this is going to be insane! Just gorgeous just gorgeous!
